Can I stay with my dog(s) during the appointment? Unfortunately no. Building a trusting relationship and keeping your dogs focus on the groomer is a big component. Having a parent in the studio can be confusing and they will direct their attention to you.
How often does my dog need to be groomed. Each breed and coat is different. Regular grooms should be every 4 - 12 weeks depending on the dog. I do not recommend going longer than 12 weeks as it is hard on the dog and the groomer. For some dogs the schedule will be longer but having express appointments for nails and brushing may be an option. We will discuss this during your first appointment.
What products do you use? I use Beau Canine Essential products. They are a Vancouver based company. All of their products are hypoallergenic, tear-free, sulphate-free, flea treatment compatible, pH balanced for dogs with sensitive skin and cruelty-free. You are welcome to bring any vet recommended products with you.
How do I know you are the right groomer for my dog(s)? I am working with owners that are invested in keeping their dogs groomed and want to create a positive experience for their dog(s) through relationship and trust. I am a kennel free one on one groomer. If this matters to you I may be the right fit.
What is your cancellation policy? We require 48 hours notice for cancellations or the full cost of the groom will still be charged. I know that accidents and emergencies do come up so we request contacting us as soon as possible so we can discuss.
How long will it take for my dog(s) to be groomed? Your dogs health and mental well being is important to me. This means I will put your dogs well being first. Every dog is different so timing will depend on dogs personality, coat, age, and more. Approximate pick up times will be discussed at drop off and I will contact you if there is any change to it.
