Hi, I’m Deb — the heart behind The Country Canine Grooming Studio in Abbotsford.

I began grooming in 2022 and graduated from Western Dog Grooming School in 2024. I opened my private, one-on-one studio with one goal in mind: to create a calm, safe space where dogs truly come first.

As a certified Fear Free Professional, I prioritize your dog’s emotional wellbeing just as much as their haircut. I don’t believe in rushing, forcing, or chasing perfection. I believe in patience, trust-building, and meeting each dog where they are — especially nervous, senior, reactive, and rescue dogs.

My quiet, private studio allows dogs to relax without the chaos of busy salons. Some appointments take extra time. Some require breaks. Some celebrate small wins. And that’s exactly how it should be.

I’ve also been involved in animal rescue in Puebla, Mexico since 2018 and run a nonprofit, Meals for Mutts, supporting shelter dogs. Rescue work has deeply shaped how I groom — with compassion first, always.
